How to plan a beach wedding in Maine or NH?
I’d love to get married on the beach in Maine or New Hampshire, with a reception location on site or nearby, and still have an inclement weather backup plan nearby, and not spend a ton of money. (Some places are asking $139 a plate for a wedding and reception.) Does anyone have any suggestions of venues and how to plan a beach wedding?

a great venue right by the beach is the Ashworth By The Sea. It’s a REALLY pretty and accomodate for weddings: http://www.ashworthhotel.com/weddings/index.cfm
they can have your reception either in the ballroom or outside in their gardens!
This isn’t a SUPER expensive hotel, but it is gorgeous and perfect for a wedding!
